Oxford Brookes Racing unveil their 2020 Livery
IN 2020, Oxford Brookes Racing (OBR), the award-winning Formula Student team from Oxford Brookes University, shifted from combustion to electric. The OBR20 vehicle they intended to take to Formula Student UK would have been their first Electric Vehicle had it not been for COVID-19. They had the opportunity to test the designs of OBR20 at the Virtual FSUK Competition and placed very well.
Virtual Formula Student UK Results
- 5th Overall in Statics
- 3rd Overall in Virtual Dynamics
If there was an overall category with the virtual dynamics and statics events being scored together, as is done at the real-world FSUK, OBR would have placed 2nd overall, making us runners up for the third year in a row. A fantastic effort achieved from a field of over 80 competitors.

- 6th Business Plan Presentation
- Tied 10th with 2 teams for Cost and Manufacturing
