KeyShot 7: new version of rendering software available
Wootton Wawen August 2017 – the new version KeyShot 7 is available immediately for download and purchase at Luxion’s biggest partner worldwide, INNEO Solutions. Luxion, a leading developer of advanced rendering and lighting technology and maker of KeyShot®, the first real-time ray tracing and global illumination program, provides users with additional functionality to accelerate 3D rendering processes throughout the development process with the new release.
KeyShot 7 is focused on more possibilities across all areas: Creation, material, lighting, flexibility and speed. New features include the KeyShot Configurator to build real-time product variations, Studios to create scene variations and real-time VR support. In addition, there are new material types and texture mappings like Tri-Planar and Tile UV, multi-materials to add multiple materials to a single part as well as enhanced options for procedural textures. KeyShot 7 now features Environment lists, HDR output and a new integrated HDRI Editor with interactive Sun & Sky. Users now have more flexibility with UI, workspace and Hotkey customisation. New workflow capabilities featuring a completely new sampling method, re-tessellation of already imported models, an adaptive performance mode, new render passes and more output capabilities allow to create renderings, animations and interactive visuals faster than ever before.
KeyShot 7 builds on the proven key differentiators of the software: Real-time speed and the most easy to use interface with the most accurate materials and advanced lighting capabilities wrapped into an efficient workflow that gives users results faster than any software available. KeyShot offers the widest support for the most popular 3D file formats and expanding software integration that designers, engineers, marketing specialists and 3D artists rely on to fit seamlessly into their workflow. Luxion’s focus on offering ‘more’ is grounded in the features implemented to speed and simplify the workflow, deliver the best material and lighting capabilities and reduce setup and render times to allow users to focus on creating amazing visuals.
“KeyShot 7 has amazing capabilities, but we were not satisfied with only adding features,” says Claus Wann Jensen, Co-founder and CEO of Luxion. “Every one of these features and every improvement must consider the user’s workflow from import to final render – simplifying every task, providing absolute flexibility and complete control across interface, camera, materials and lighting. With the input from our users, I’m convinced we have done that with KeyShot 7.”
All customers who bought KeyShot on or after November 25th, 2016, as well as all customers who purchased KeyShot for Education or KeyShot for ZBrush will receive the upgrade to KeyShot 7 automatically and free of charge.
