INNEO Interactive 2019
INNEO Interactive 2019 took place on Tuesday 18 June at the beautiful Wootton Park venue in Warwickshire. Attendees gave great feedback and were impressed with the exciting digital innovations that were presented.
INNEO UK Country Manager, Neil Templeton, opened the event with his welcome address where he shared the vision of the digital thread and the art of the possible with customers. Paul Haimes, VP Pre-Sales at PTC was next up and continued the theme of the digital thread and presented some exciting highlights from PTC's liveworx event.
Tom Driscoll, Senior Research Engineer from the MTC, introduced use cases around smart factory and connected devices while Claus Wann Jensen, founder of Luxion, showcased cutting-edge features that will be available in KeyShot 9.
Mike Cooper provided insights into the innovative new technology being used at Lontra and Oxford Brookes Racing Team presented their impressive use of KeyShot and AR for their racing car design. Richard Morrow, INNEO UK Technical Services Manager provided a valuable snapshot into major trends and the stages of digital transformation.
Throughout the day there were parallel sessions running, including the always popular VR and AR experiences where event participants could try out the equipment first hand.
Other highlights included Jens Heineck taking attendees through the possibilities of CGI/AR/VR and how it changes communication, Altair presenting ground-breaking simulation using SimSolid and Marius Stols sharing customer's AR experiences using ThingWorx Vuforia.
