The Revolution in 3D Rendering

Photorealistic 3D rendering is usually very time-consuming and requires considerable knowledge. Therefore it´s less the actual rendering time for high-resolution images being the time-critical issue, but the long delays for generating the preview adding-up with every step. Due to its extremely fast and powerful rendering algorithm KeyShot permanently responds to user interaction: The result is displayed immediately with all effects. Even snapshots are so convincing, in many cases high resolution rendering can be spared.

An absolutely unique feature of KeyShot is its extremely simple operation. The user interface concentrates on the significant tasks and enables even complete beginners to create realistic images in the blink of an eye.

KeyShot´s rendering algorithms are based on scientific results enabling the highest precision photo realism.

Benefits

  • Desktop rendering for everyone
  • Fast to learn

  • No expert knowledge required

  • Results in minutes, not hours
  • Replace snapshots with photographs
  • Eliminates prototypes and design samples
  • High-resolution images for advertising without manufacturing marks (scratches, surface irregularities etc.)
  • Minimises time and cost-effective photo shootings

KeyShotVR

The KeyShotVR add-on allows interactive presentation of KeyShot 3D render images on the web. Just a HTML5 enabled browser is needed to view the contents even on mobile devices. Wizard guided VR setup: Embed the result on any website.

Companies can now showcase their products from any point of view interactively, creating a spatial impression to the spectator.

KeyShotVR is an add-on to existing Pro versions and available from version KeyShot 3.3 upwards.

Network Rendering

Does your image take too long, is your machine blocked by a calculation, the animation can’t be done or needs to be clipped because nights/weekends are too short? If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, you're a candidate for network rendering. Calculations are fed to the network using a simple interface. When the calculation has finished you will be notified and the result is saved to your own machine. Multiple clients can use this network for their jobs which are then processed in a queue one by one. Your own machine may participate in the calculations or just send the order. Machines can be signed on and off dynamically. The network is expandable from 32 to 256 cores using every core of a CPU available in the render network. Calculation speed is scaling nearly linear. This technology opens new dimensions in productivity.

Network rendering is recommended for animations, complex or large images and of course for the new KeyShotVR add-on.
