With the new version 2.4 of its project management solution Prios Foundation, INNEO offers a number of new and unique features.
The resource planning tablet (RPT) and the Gantt project plan are now grouped and synchronized in one single Web Part. This makes it even easier to find the correct resource to complete the task and to recognize their availability at a glance.
Through new extended functionality it’s now possible to move whole phases and projects, with all tasks and milestones, just using Drag & Drop. This allows accelerated planning and updating of current projects, as well as simulating various scenarios to resolve scheduling conflicts.
The track time sheet and feedback functionality was given even more flexibility, by allowing it to be completely optional. Customers can choose not to use this functionality initially which means there will be a high level of user acceptance within projects, however, they can opt to use it at a later date allowing improved transparency.
Great importance was also given to overall system performance. With optimized programming, combined with new possibilities provided by using the .NET Framework 4.0, a performance is achieved, that is comparable to a Windows-based local installation, when reaction speed is considered.
